Kate is a photographer, filmmaker and naturalist telling local stories of nature connection, forgotten wildlife and conservation efforts in the wild areas of the southern England. Inspired by the world around them, they use photography to create wonder for forgotten and depleting species including British moths, insects that are reducing in numbers and often demonised and misrepresented in media. Kate’s work is dynamic and combines a variety of lens-based image making techniques. Their current project, Drawn to the Light, aims to share the joys of moths; questioning the stereotypes that people have about them and reframing the common views on moths.
